The Contoocook Valley Transportation Cooperative began in June of 2006 as Transportation for Everyone, a grassroots initiative to explore creative solutions for the varied transportation needs of our communities. Funding came from the NH Endowment for Health and the Federal Administration on Developmental Disabilities.

CVTC is working closely with the State Coordinating Council for Community Transportation (created by legislation in 2007) and the developing Regional Council which covers our fourteen communities.
